Our Mission & Staff

It is our Mission to provide knowledgeable, compassionate neurologic care to patients in
Southern Delaware and our surrounding communities. For over 25 years, The Neurology Center of South Delaware, P.A. has worked with the patients and families of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia to improve their health and well-being.

Staff

Bruce Dopler, M.D.

Dr. Dopler is a graduate of George Mason University and Eastern Virginia Medical School. He trained in Neurology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center where he served as chief resident. After training, Dr. Dopler served at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and then Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He moved his family to Seaford, DE in 1997 to serve the Lower Delaware and surrounding community. He is board certified in Adult Neurology and subspecialty certified in Vascular Neurology. He is the Medical Advisor for the State of Delaware Stroke System of Care and Stroke Medical Director at Tidal Health, Nanticoke. He works to provide state of the art care to prevent and treat cerebral vascular disease for every patient in our community. He is passionate about disease prevention and treatment. He is also interested in the evaluation and treatment of neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and small vessel ischemic disease.

Staff

Gina Alderson, M.D.

Dr. Alderson is a graduate of the University of Maryland and Eastern Virginia Medical School. She did her internship in Internal Medicine at Washington Hospital Center and Neurology residency at Georgetown University Medical Center. After her residency, she provided neurologic care to veterans and military families at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas prior to moving to Seaford, DE in 1997 to provide general neurology care to the patients of Delmarva. She is board certified in Adult Neurology and has a special interest in Adult Cognitive Disease.
